Kolkata Doctor Murder Case: The horrific crime involving a trainee doctor in Kolkata has sparked outrage across the country. On Tuesday, doctors staged a nationwide strike, disrupting services in OPDs at various hospitals, including Delhi AIIMS. AIIMS and the Federation of All India Medical Association (FAIMA) have announced that the strike will continue on Wednesday.

Doctors from FAIMA and other Resident Doctors’ Associations have stated that their protest will persist until a central law is enacted to prevent attacks on medical personnel. The CBI has already begun its investigation into the case.

He expressed his solidarity, stating, “I am going to join the protesters because, like millions of Bengali families, I have a daughter and a young granddaughter. It’s time we stand up. Enough is enough—violence against women must stop.”
Sukhendu Shekhar Roy Expresses Doubt Over CBI Investigation: The TMC MP further added, “No matter what, let’s all unite in condemning this incident. A brutal rape and murder occurred at RG Kar Hospital. Who are these people? Now, the CBI will investigate. Fine. But I have no faith in the CBI. They are incompetent. Yet, the truth must come out. Why are efforts being made to protect the culprits? Whoever is responsible for this crime should be hanged.”

This statement marks a significant declaration from the TMC MP amidst the ongoing turmoil surrounding the incident.
